Adrian Mether is the founder of Harmony Counselling - Ballarat. Adrian approaches his work as a companion to your relationships, environment and client’s exploration of self within session.
Experiencing anxiety and family separation at a young age, Adrian holds firsthand experience in understanding and supporting both himself and others to navigate life’s challenges. This experience motivated Adrian who went on to work in the welfare and counselling field assisting individuals and families during challenging transitions, including working with infants, adolescents and family dynamics.
Adrian has extensive experience as a facilitator of Men's Behaviour Change programs, working in family violence Victim/Survivor programs with presentations of grief, anxiety, depression.
Passionate about family dynamics, relationships and the development of each individual’s self-concept. Adrian recognises the complexity of all relationships and how challenging they can be. He views counselling as a way to support families and/or individuals to identify stuck points and find new information about relationships or oneself to create shifts, and allow clients “ah ha” moments of new understandings to form and change to occur.
